Overgrowth Alpha 69

Here is what is new in Overgrowth in the 69th weekly alpha. If you are confused what a weekly alpha is, or even what Overgrowth is, please read our fancy FAQ. Basically, we are developing a massive video game from the ground up -- we are able to do this completely independently by accepting preorders for the game before it's done!

Overgrowth

Here are a few highlights from the source repository:

  • New Mac VRAM check
  • Fixed double group loading bug
  • Fixed sync between animation speed and movement speed
  • Cleaned up plant and shadow shaders
  • Fixed gamma corrected detail texture tint
  • Initial jumping and crouching (and crouch-walking)
  • Added animation tilt (for falling)
  • Added animation events
  • Started on material scripts (impacts with sand, snow, rock)
