Overgrowth Alpha 72
Add comment!March 30th, 2010
Here is what is new in Overgrowth in the 72nd weekly alpha. If you are confused what a weekly alpha is, or even what Overgrowth is, please read our fancy FAQ. Basically, we are developing a massive video game from the ground up -- we are able to do this completely independently by accepting preorders for the game before it's done!
Here are a few highlights from the source repository:
- Can now choose directory to install Overgrowth to on Windows
- Overgrowth now writes to the proper documents directory on Windows
- Added single-sided triangle mesh collision response
- Moved player collision detection and response into scripting
- Added scriptable debug drawing for lines and spheres
- New movement collision response to handle stairs and other rough surfaces
- Fixed sky gamma issue
- Improved crouch walk animation a bit
- Disabled camera rotation when game does not have input focus
Thanks as always for all the support! See you guys in IRC and the forums.
