Movement Evolution

I tried evolving new kinds of movement in 3D humanoid characters. There has been a lot of research on dynamic humanoid walking controllers, but what about crawling? Or breakdancing?

ROFL, dance, odd single person kamasutra crashdoll?

Wow, that’s very cool! half of those looked like either seizures, or the guy being dragged away by some evil monster thing! Hey!!! I know your probably getting tired of hearing this, but you should put some dynamic dragging and struggling into L2!! like when you grab a guy, be able to drag him around, and if he’s not unconscious or dead, make it so he flails his arms and legs around like that!

    Nice, never-ceasing energy-wise movements. =)
I bet you had a good time testing that out.

Man, this looks pretty impressive. I can’t wait to see the final product. Are you planning on releasing level editors with the game? I may be preaching to the choir, but adding customisability to games greatly enhances longevity. Also, do you think the game will ‘play nicely’ with modifications? Even something as simple as custom textures for players would be nice, but adding additional scripting tools (see: Lua in Garry’s Mod) would enshrine this game in the indie hall of fame. Unless your screenshots are fake, however, I think that’s a given.
