New IRC experiment

The Wolfire IRC channel is an awesome place to hang out with developers and talk about Overgrowth, video games, and random stuff.

Like the forums and blog, we try not to really moderate it -- it just naturally sort of polices itself and stays cool. However, every once in a while, the channel is attacked by people who can easily render it unusable by simply spamming it repeatedly.

To combat this, I am trying a new experiment. As of today, everyone who has preordered Overgrowth is able to kick and temporarily ban people.

All you have to do is send the bot robbert the following private message: identify forum-username forum-password. Then just type "kick user" in the channel and robbert will kick and ban that person.

We'll see how it goes!
