It’s like, really hot in that desert. I don’t know any game that uses heat haze, just blooming effects. How is this being applied? Can you render heat haze wherever you want? Or is it a more independent factor that happens in hot deserts?
I can’t really tell how much distortion this will effect object’s looks, but by the background this looks really cool! Better than real life. At least for me, I’ve only been seeing heat haze in streets and hot asphalt, this definitly looks alot better.
